Here's our selection of places where you can take five and fully relax.

Your ski break with a panoramic view

Take a break from your day's skiing on one of our three panoramic terraces located on the Bellevarde massif.

With their amazing panoramas, take a moment to enjoy the breath-taking views of the Tignes - Val d'Isère ski areas. This is your chance to see the peaks close-up using the binoculars provided on the Funival and Borsat terraces. Or relax and enjoy the deckchairs and picnic tables available.

You'll find these three terraces at the top of the Fontaine Froide chairlift, the Funival, and the Borsat chairlift.

Time for a spot of sunbathing

Across the ski area, you'll find deckchairs and picnic tables available free of charge beside our panoramic terraces.

For one of the most breath-taking views in the area, head to the top of the Grand Pré chairlift, just opposite the giant Val d’Isère letters, where you'll find deckchairs waiting for you to enjoy a break in the sun.

You'll also find one on the Solaise massif, at the top of the Glacier chairlift, and on the Iseran massif at the top of the Vallon gondola, where a 360° view awaits you.

Time to warm up

If you're feeling the chill, or if the weather is bad, you can take a break in one of our two picnic halls.

Head to the Solaise Lounge to enjoy armchairs, sofas, children's games and hot drinks and pastries served by our Lounge teams. Sip a hot chocolate while admiring the breath-taking view from the top of Solaise. Take the opportunity to visit the Val d'Isère Téléphériques photo exhibition on the ground floor of the Lounge and learn about the wide range of professions within the ski lift company.

If you're on La Daille side, enjoy a moment in the warmth of La Daille picnic hall, located just above La Daille gondola. There are vending machines, a children's play area, highchairs, and beanbags to relax in, as well as an outdoor terrace where you can visit the inside of a vintage lift cabin!

Take a break in the forest

The more adventurous skiers might want to take a break at the Village Perdu lost village! In the heart of the Étroits de la Daille forest, take a stroll along the raised wooden walkways and check-out the suspended cabins, before unwinding in one of the many relaxation areas, including cabins at ground level and wooden deckchairs. Make the most of the picnic tables and deckchairs on one of the two terraces in the fun area or relax on an XXL swing.
